We design considered places that age gracefully alongside the people who live in them.
Lana Bureau is a Kyiv-based architecture and interior studio working between Eastern Europe and Italy. Our work centres on the people who’ll inhabit a space — their rituals, their materials, the light they wake to.
We draw influence from the slow-built tradition of Milanese practice: honest construction, restrained palettes, joinery that improves with use. Each commission is small in number, large in attention.

- 01Brief & site visitA first conversation, on site if possible. We listen to how you live, measure the space, and capture the light.
- 02ConceptPlans, references and a material direction. Two rounds of revision before we commit to a path.
- 03Design developmentDrawings, joinery details, lighting plan, supplier shortlist. Coordinated with structure and services.
- 04DocumentationTender set, schedules and finishes book — everything a contractor needs to build the project as specified.
- 05Build supervisionSite visits through construction, decisions made on the floor, final styling once the dust settles.
